What’s Going on at Shandon During the Pandemic
With the Covid-19 pandemic, we are working to keep our church safe and our procedures in line with recommendations from the CDC and SC DHEC. We have a Re-emerge Task Team in place that continually reviews this information and monitors the situation. The team has spent long hours developing protocols for returning in-person. We are slowly and safely beginning to return in-person.
- In-person worship has returned with limited attendance. It’s a little different, with reservations, masks, and social distancing.
- Worship from Home live-stream worship services. We have two live-stream services: 8:45 a.m. Traditional and 11:05 a.m. LifeLine Contemporary. Services remain available to watch at any time after they air. View the Services
- Most in-person Sunday school classes and in-person church and community activities are not happening right now.
- To keep everyone connected and faith nurtured, we’re having a number of online studies and activities, outdoor activities, and drive-through events for all ages.
- We’re continuing to serve our neighbors in need through a number of mission activities.
